I wrote earlier this week about taking a different approach to being open to God’s will. I have committed my life to serving God and his children, so rather than asking God WHAT I should do, I need to focus on HOW to do His will. Since that small epiphany and change in focus I feel as if the flood gates of grace have been opened.
So many things are now occurring in my life that give me joy and that make me feel fulfilled. Yes, I still struggle with the usual demons in my life — we all do and always will — but it is such a wonderful feeling to know that even during difficult times God is with us.
Lord, open my eyes, my ears and my heart to every grace you long to lavish on me! Flood me with your grace and desire!
